Kolkata alias Calcutta(spelled as Culcutta as well), as known as a city of joy, is full of life and vibrancy. Kolkata is a 300 plus years old city(the name must have its origin from Kalighat or Kalikata), built in the British era and is the capital of the state of West Bengal.
